So Webby didn't get in the picture at the end. Oh, well we'll just have to do it again!

Has anybody got an Ox and Bucks cap badge to sell as I am going to D-day as British?

Was it the haft you were looking for as there was one propped against the side of a van in the safe area towards the end of the day, I don't know what happened to it but I presume someone took it with them. :?

A very good day - cheers PBI!

The sun shone and the gameplay was good tempered - not knackering players must have something to do with it, clearly the separate actions had a part to play in that. Top marks for making full use of the site and not ending up with a blat in the village.

I was interested to see how the game style worked (and how well others received it) and you pulled it off nicely. Reminded me very much of Gucci's games of times past.

Very good to see some new faces, funny to watch Lardy's knife kill on Orky, oh, and chatting in the s/z was good too!

Heh, I'm not on the team photo either. Meh, I'll Photoshop meself in

Ta Gadge, but I'm OK as I already have a South Staffs badge on beret but I could only find info on the web of the Ox & Bucks so I thought of re-badging. I know the South Staffs took casualties (ones I read were around Caen) so what role did they play in the D-Day (Op Overlord?) landings?

I am happy if it makes some historical sense being South Staffs at D-Day +2.

Well I had a great day! This despite having a shocking cold and coughing my guts up every so often! But I wouldn't have missed it for the world!

The greatest bit for me was seeing how much the Brit training day helped us all work as a cohesive unit. Superb!

Thanks to all involved!

Superb day all around. Thanks Gadge, Yith, Evo and Major.

The Pillbox looked excellent, especially when I was flattened in a very wet ditch completely suppressed about 30m away.

I liked the "combat mission" format too, it worked really well, everything seemed a bit more realistic and kept everyone in sections too.

No respawns but using the medic was a good compromise between "one hit and out" and "unlimited lives".

I hope you do more games in this mould, then we'll have CiA for out and out spectacle filmsim and fun, and PBI doing the occasional more gritty realistic game, and Gunman somewhere in the middle (Josh's format isn't too disimilar to the 45min games).

Thank you to the PBI, great day. (and I didn't loose any mags or get shot in the mouth!)

Well done Germans. Thought it was going to be a tough command with the amount of new faces in our ranks, but all soldiers followed orders with German efficiency and fought well. Hope you all got a good mix of tasks and didn't get either, too bored or too shot to sh*t.

The British looked excellent, great effort on the uniformity. (I never feel 100% comfortable about shooting British troops)

It was good to meet the new players, all splendid chaps, and I hope to see them playing again.

now that the migraine has cleared, I can offer my 2 penneth.

Thanks to the PBI organisers for putting on a great day, I know its been echo'd around a few times, but I loved the 45 minute games. It brought a whole new element to my game that I never thought I had, engaging and withdrawing, who'd have thought it, webby shying away from a firefight.... but letting the squad down by being 1 man fewer in a tight battle was important.

I managed to crawl all of about 50 metres down the right flank to try and read what was written on the 'blurry' German CP sign, I was sure I had been spotted a number of times, however Che walked within about 10 metres from me and didnt see! 8)

Was good to see all of the Brits in almost identical kit, and good to see the fine turn out (as usual) from the Germans. Field Grau is much easier to spot than the the camouflage that you normally wear hehe :)

Well done to the Germans for winning the day, it was hard graft fighting against you and you thoroughly deserved it :D

Best part of the day was shooting out of the rhodie bush in all directions at the end, I've not known a thompson mag last so long.

Thanks to Yith for letting me borrow his spare denison and to Gadge for letting me borrow his para helmet.

Hopefully it won't be as long before I get to don the British stuff again!

Thanks to the F&O crew for the usual friendly banter and hospitality! See you all at the next 1 :)

Damn Hi-Caps or even mid-caps, trying to be offensive with an MP40 and standard mags, is 'realistic' but sux when u run out just as you spot more movement ahead than expected and have to change mag.

I could take my own Thompson M1A1 out to play as captured kit, but that would feel wrong

Nice to see you wear roughouts for a change Webby  heheehehe

Oh and Helga told me to tell ya - U'r a CHAV, with Chav car
